Group Building and Leadership Activities Interactive exercises in which participants complete challenges together.   These help to strengthen the group, provide leadership possibilities, and improve communication skills.  
Classroom or School Compost Create a successful compost pile.   Participants learn how composting works and why it is important.
Classroom Organic Garden Create a two square meter indoor garden in which students can grow herbs, flowers and vegetables.

Classroom Living Machine

Create a mini living machine with fish and plants.   Participants gather wetland plants and create a living ecology.    This is an opportunity to learn about ecological design and the roles of micro-organisms and filter feeders.

Seed Harvesting and Tree Planting Gather wild seeds and plant trees in egg cartons.   Students learn about trees and how to care for them.
Plant and Tree Identification Journal Create a book that will be used for drawings and descriptions of local plants and trees.
Classroom Micro-Enterprise This is an opportunity for students to learn about creating a micro-enterprise.   Sample project is gathering wild herbs and creating salves, creams, and chapstick.   There is the opportunity for designing logos, labels and creating a business plan.  
Simple Strategies for Greening the Classroom We will look at the Ecological footprint and carbon emissions to locate areas on the classroom and school that can be improved.   Solutions may be, eco-lightbulbs, composting, recycling etc..
Survival and Forest Skills Build self confidence and gain useful outdoor survival skills.   Activities are shelter building, fire by friction, orienteering learning about wilderness safety.
Sustainability Education Learn about sustainability, ecological indicators, and key eco-technologies for water, soil, energy and transport.
Eco-Club Create an eco-club.   Students will work together on specific eco-projects and learn how to make eco-conscious choices.
Eco-Footprinting of Schools

Measure the ecological footprint of your school and learn how to create positive changes to your footprint. Involves consulting and several school visits.

Team Building Through Art and Creativity Create a collaborative artwork.   Excellent way of engaging participants to work together.   This caters to those with different learning styles and to everyone's creativity.   The end result can be a source of inspiration and outreach to others.
Songs, Dances and Games to Engage and Enliven Learn a variety of short songs, dances, games that can be used in the classroom or workshop space to engage participants and enliven the energy of the group.
Earth Art Creating art in nature using natural found materials.   Participants connect to nature through this transformative group building experience.
Murals Learn how to create a mural, appropriate materials, design and placement.   Learn how to engage children and the community.  
Art Therapy Use guided visualization and drawing to connect with our feelings, memories and dreams for the future.   This can also be used to work on specific issues or problems.
